Most Used SymptomScreen Guides of 2023

As the new year begins, we thought it might be interesting to take a look back over the last year to see what the most used screening guides were in SymptomScreen in 2023.

To do this, we compiled the data from all of the active SymptomScreen accounts and sorted based on the number of times each guide was copied into the patient’s medical record.

The percentages seen next to the names of the guides in the top 20 list represent the percentage of all calls for 2023. For example, 9.1% of the millions of calls taken using SymptomScreen in 2023 were related to coughs.

Interestingly, the top 20 guides account for over 50% of all of the calls taken using SymptomScreen in 2023 (there are over 260 guides currently available in SymptomScreen). This means that less than 10% of the guides in SymptomScreen make up over half of the calls agents are receiving.

Not surprisingly, we noticed a similar trend when reviewing the top 20 telephone triage protocols used in ClearTriage last year. For more information, make sure to check out our Top Telephone Triage Protocols of 2023 report.
